The 90 degree high pressure elbow is bent by a complete set of bending equipment, divided into two technologies: cold simmering and hot pushing. Analysis of the main reasons for quality degradation of 90 degree high pressure elbow and methods for attention:

1. In pure bending, the outer arm wall of the middle layer is thinned by tensile stress &1 under the action of external force distance M, while the inner side is compressed. As a result of the thickening, the combined forces of N1 and N2 changed the cross section of the pipe. Based on this factor, RX and SX are the main reasons for the quality decline of the elbow. Therefore, in gbj235-82, the RX value under various pressure levels and the outside thinning amount are clearly specified, in order to control the value of RX and SX, so as to ensure the quality.

2. As mentioned in the previous article, when bending a pipe, the material outside is pulled, while the neutral axis of compression inside is located at a different position from the method of bending a pipe. When the top bending (compression bending) is working, the neutral axis is about 1/3 away from the outer wall; when the rotary bending (backbending) is working, the neutral axis is about 2/3 away from the outer wall. Therefore, it is beneficial to use the method of circumflex.

3, the precision of the bending tire is also one of the factors affecting the quality of the bending tube. In the manufacturing of bending tires, we require users to choose the corresponding bending tires according to the diameter of the bending pipe, except that the specification and size should be controlled within the tolerance range.

4. The bendability and surface corrosion of the pipe may also affect the quality of the pipe. During site construction, the operator also needs to know the materials, processing properties and corrosion conditions of the pipeline to make production judgment.

5. R is now provided. (bending radius/outer diameter of pipe) relation curve, for users to refer to when selecting the relation between pipe diameter and wall thickness. It reflects the influence of relative bending radius and relative wall thickness on the quality of bending pipes. According to the acceptance code of pipeline processing, steel pipes with cold bending are, medium and low pressure are 4D, and high pressure is 5D. Therefore, our curved tire design is R=4D(in special cases, it shall be determined separately).
